After ten or fifteen years when the stupid owner will want to sell them (preferably at the highest price possible for VW) they won't find anybody to buy such rotten cars! In this case it's a bit different, the article says that the place had been abandoned after the manager retired, there was noone to keep the work up.  I don't know much about this vehicle's story, just that it's a unique work made by Beutler for a Car show in Europe (what year?), I don't know how nor when it came in this place but for sure it's an incredible work.
