My Guestbook30/08/2000 whow! Vacations time is ending, and that's a real pity :( this update see several important notice, first of all, the september wallpaper is up, I designed it wit the autumn in mind. The main event of this summer for me was the
meeting of Chateau d'Oex in Switzerland, with 1500 cars of all kind and
conditions is considered as a must see and I should say that it is a must
see, the next edition will be in two years, don't miss it if you're around.
I built several cars during the last two weeks 2 things (type 181) one, the green one is directly inspired of a model seen at the last bug o rama, the other came out my imagination. I made a custom version of my off road bug with scallops. I rendered two more pictures of my opened westy and it seems to say "welcome aboard!" And I added a model to the type
3 fastback section because I know you're numerous to wait for these
models.
15/08/2000 Hello Friends, here we are, I am on holidays, and I am having a great deserved rest period :) This didn't empeach me to carry my computer with me in order to build new models. This updates has three big trends, one is the bus trend, three model, the first one is a very singular 15 window deluxe model, these models were essentially sold on the us market and are now pretty rare, they just look like sambas but without the small roof windows. The two other additions are taken from a book
and are supposed to show what kind of decoration the VW factory was able
to do for customers, the argument was that the cost of the paint had to
be compared with the price of a real advertisement panel some says that
on a year period this was equal to the price of the bus , WOW !
Three variations around the late Karmann model a yellow one with Porsche alloys and a greeny one with two enormous rear tires, ready to burn the asphalt :); the third one is a cool blue one nice no? And last but not least a superbeetle 1303 elegant and racy, as far as it is the most visited section of the museum I have to add more of them!
